General

With the renewed Denon DJ Prime 4 you have all the functionality of the latest Engine DJ software right at your fingertips. Without a computer you can use Stems, stream music via WiFi and simply perform song analyses on your controller. But that’s not all; the Prime 4+ enables you to control your Smart lighting, use your laptop as a wireless media source, and create many new effect combinations with the layered Touch FX feature via the XY Control Screen. Take advantage of many different performance pad modes for smooth control (including Hot Cue, Saved Loops, Samplers, Slicers, etc.) and from the summer of 2023 Bluetooth support is even available for streaming audio.

Let there be no doubt that the Denon DJ Prime 4+ is a stunning piece of hardware. The controller looks a bit more refined than its predecessor and also has 10% larger platters. It is still a 4-channel, 4-deck controller on which you can connect both line sources and turntables with a phono signal only. Thanks to the balanced Main, Booth, and Zone outputs you don’t have to fear a distorted audio signal during the show. The whole thing is also very solidly built so you don’t have to fear the rigors of a long night in the booth. You also don’t have to worry about not fulfilling a song request; with Denon DJ you’re spoiled for official media streaming partners such as Amazon, Beatport, Beatsource, TIDAL, Soundcloud Go+ and even Dropbox.

With the latest features of Engine DJ OS, the Denon DJ Prime 4+ is the most advanced DJ system ever. An example of what Engine DJ can do is the new Stems integration which you can now use completely standalone. This means you can isolate vocals or instruments from a track on the fly for creative transitions or effects. Other features of Engine DJ include a built-in sampler, the ability to control Smart lighting or have it automatically respond to the music, integration with Ableton Link, you name it. With Touch FX you control the settings of your effects with a swipe of your finger to create dramatic build-ups, drops and transitions. You can also create Smartlists so the controller organizes all your connected drivers according to the criteria you specify.
