We present a magnificent pair of authentic Beijing Chinese carpets, ideal as bedside rugs and entirely handmade during the period 1950–1960.
Both pieces are made with high-quality wool on a cotton backing. They feature an interesting traditional Chinese design, centered on a dragon and accompanied by stylized bats, symbols of good fortune. The border is decorated with Shou medallions, related to longevity, and traditional geometric motifs.
