Antique Tiles Auction

Beautiful ceramic tile, fully hand-painted using traditional techniques on fired clay and a vitreous glaze.
Inspired by the illuminations of the Sephardic manuscripts of the 14th century (Haggadah of Sarajevo/Tower of Babel), it combines medieval iconography, fantasy motifs, and Hebrew calligraphy.
Coming from an old mansion in the vicinity of Toledo, it features a magnificent aged patina and craquelure that give it a pronounced period character.
A unique piece of great artisanal beauty, ideal for collectors, spaces with charm, or lovers of Hispano-Jewish art and Toledo pottery.
