Vintage Smiths Mechanical Chiming Mantel Clock – Made in Great Britain – c.1960

Beautiful vintage Smiths mechanical mantel clock in a wooden case. The clock is working and comes with its winding key. It has a traditional mechanical movement with pendulum and multi-rod chiming mechanism.

The dial is marked “Smiths” and “Made in Great Britain.” An engraved presentation plaque reads: “Presented to A. R. Bailey by his colleagues at Diss Depot, July 1960.”

The clock shows normal signs of age and use. Please note that the front glass is missing. The wooden case, dial and movement otherwise present attractively for their age. Please see all photographs for condition.
