Alessandro Mandruzzato - Flavio Poli - Vase - Crystal - Murano

Beautiful, heavy facet-cut crystal vase produced with the Sommersotechniek technique, in which layers of colored glass are skillfully blown over one another. This vase has a brilliant deep green core that bleeds into a subtle amber-yellow/honey-colored layer, wrapped by thick, solid transparent glass.
The design is attributed to Flavio Poli and executed by Alessandro Mandruzatto in Murano, Italy. The vase features a very sleek, geometric, and modernist Mid-Century Modern design with razor-sharp facet-cut sides.
The vase is equipped with an original red, paper factory label bearing the text V.A.M. Vetri Molati - Made in Murano.
At the bottom there is also a round authenticity/quality label.
