Vintage Anvil English Mechanical Mantel Clock – Striking Gong – Key Included

Vintage Anvil mechanical mantel clock, Made in England, housed in an attractive arched wooden case.

The clock has a mechanical movement with two winding points and strikes on a coiled gong. It is supplied with its winding key and pendulum.

The clock has been tested and is running and striking.

The dial features stylised Arabic numerals, decorative hands and the ANVIL name below 12 o’clock, with MADE IN ENGLAND marked at the bottom.

The hinged glazed front bezel opens correctly, as does the wooden rear access door.

The clock is in vintage condition with age-related wear, including marks and scratches to the wooden case and some patina/tarnishing to the metal components. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
