Art Deco vase, Ditmar Urbach.
Czechoslovakia in the 1930s.

This vase is part of the Alienware ceramics series by Ditmar Urbach.
What characterizes this series is the stylized relief medallion in black on a colorful glazed ground.
In this vase that is pinkish-rose/red with sometimes a bit of lustre effect.
The inside of the vase shows many colors.
The modest ‘handles’ are in a typical Art Deco form.
At the bottom marked with no. 7960 and the Roman numeral IV.
Height is 21.5 cm, diameter 10 cm, neck diameter 7 cm.
The vase is in excellent condition.

Deze vaas maakt deel uit van de serie 
Alienware keramiek van Ditmar Urbach.
Kenmerkend van deze serie 
is het gestileerde reliëfmedaillon in zwart 
op een kleurrijke geglazuurde ondergrond.
Bij deze vaas is dat oudroze/rood 
met soms een beetje lustereffect.
De binnenkant van de vaas vertoont vele kleuren.
De bescheiden ‘handgrepen’ zijn in typische art deco vorm.
Onderop gemerkt met het nr. 7960 en het romeinse cijfer IV.
Hoogte is 21,5 cm, doorsnede 10 cm, doorsnede hals 7 cm.
De vaas verkeert in uitstekende staat.
