Lalique vase model “MALINES” also known as “Vase feuilles pointues.” Model created on August 27, 1924. Model in white glass blown, moulded, patinated opalescent. It measures 12 cm in height and 10.5–11 cm in diameter at the widest point. Its weight is 167 grams. It is signed R LALIQUE indicating that the bud vase is indeed pre-1945, thus made during René Lalique's lifetime (1860–1945), i.e., between 1924 and 1945. It was removed from the catalogue in 1937 and not reissued, no. 957, in the F. Marcilhac catalogue, p. 429, 4th edition.
