Historical German-made military toy draught team, consisting of two draught horses on movable wooden bases, a two-wheeled gun carriage, and a mechanical tin field gun.
The two mass figures are marked Elastolin / Made in Germany and originate from Hausser. The horses still have their harnesses and stand on the original-looking wooden chassis with four metal wheels and drawing hooks.
The ensemble also includes a field-gray painted tin gun carriage with spoked wheels, drawbar and chains, as well as an elaborately worked tin field gun. The gun features a shield, spoked wheels, a movable barrel or aiming mechanism, and a mechanical firing/trigger mechanism.
The ensemble corresponds in construction and scale to historical horse-drawn artillery teams as they were offered in the first half of the 20th century as military toys.
Condition: authentic, clearly used age-related condition with paint losses, patina, signs of wear, and age-related changes on the mass horses. Please note the numerous photos as part of the condition description. No restoration or repainting has been performed by the current owner.

The horses bear the marking “Elastolin / Made in Germany”. A definite manufacturer marking for the gun carriage and the field gun could not be determined so far; these are therefore expressly not offered as definitively made by Hausser/Elastolin.
