The Brno Chair is one of the best-known classics of modern furniture design. Mies van der Rohe originally designed the chair in 1930 for Villa Tugendhat in Brno. Its pared-down construction and the elegant cantilever form became a symbol of international modernism and Bauhaus-influenced design.
