The Akai GXC-704D is a stereo cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction; it was introduced by Akai in 1979.
The main features of the Akai GXC-704D are: 2 heads, analog 3-digit tape counter, manual tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and ferrochrome tapes, belt-driven single-capstan transport.
Typically a front-loading cassette deck with the cassette compartment on the left side of the deck. Ejecting the tape is mechanically operated and the cassette should be inserted with the playback side facing forward into the cassette slot.
To ensure proper delivery, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, wrapped in bubble wrap with a lot of packing material. We mainly use plastic as packing material, but if a different material is preferred, please contact us.
The package is shipped insured to protect both the buyer and the seller. For any further packing requests please message after purchase.
