Fratelli Reguitti - Dressboy - Hardwood

Vintage servomuto with trouser press, a classic piece of Italian bedroom furniture produced by Fratelli Reguitti around the 1960s. The Fratelli Reguitti company was one of the most famous and important Italian manufacturing realities specialized in producing wardrobe furnishings. Many of their iconic servomuti also boasted collaboration with famous designers of the era, such as Ico Parisi. The company counted on a formidable internal team. Between 1946 and 1966, the Fratelli Reguitti filed no fewer than 124 invention and utility patents (ranking in Italy just after giants like Gucci and Pirelli).

The model shown in the photo includes several integrated functions:
- Contoured hanger positioned at the back to accommodate jackets and shirts, preserving their shape.
- Trouser press: The central wooden structure opens via hinges and side metal hooks to insert trousers and keep them creased (The heating plate needs servicing!!)
- Base with rack for shoes, equipped with wheels at the base to easily move the cabinet.
The particular Z-shape distinguishes it among the various models produced by Reguitti and makes it particularly appreciated for its rarity.
The upper shelf is equipped with two pocket-emptying trays, lined with elegant green felt.
The indossatore will be shipped partially disassembled to reduce bulk. Assembly instructions will be provided as needed.
The metal tag with the Reguitti logo inserted in the wood confirms the originality of the servomuto. This type of metal plaque, together with the characteristic green felt-lined upper pocket-emptying tray, was used by the company to certify the authenticity of its furniture products starting from the 1960s and 1970s.
The last two photos show the order of mounting the lower pins: first the wheels are removed and then the pins are screwed in.
