A collection of ten cut-glass knife rests, early 20th century

A decorative collection of ten knife rests, comprising six with cut-glass bars mounted with silver-coloured metal ends, cast with floral ornament and raised on small paw feet, together with four further knife rests entirely of cut glass in two different patterns.

The varied geometric and foliate cutting catches the light particularly well, while the darker patinated metal mounts provide an attractive contrast.

In good antique condition, with age-related wear and patination to the metal mounts and minor surface wear to the glass consistent with use.
