Description from the seller
Laguiole Collection Set by the French Master Cutler Jean Néron
All pieces are 100% Made in France and manufactured in the traditional artisanal brass-manufacturing heritage.
All pieces are high-quality stainless steel, feature 2 bolsters and 3 brass rivets, and a black ABS handle.
The set consists of 4 boxes:
- 1 box of 6 23 cm table knives
All signed “Laguiole J Néron Master Artisan”
Very good overall condition, but note that 2 handles show small cracks at the level of the 3rd rivet at the bottom of the handle (see photos with the red and blue circles)
- 1 box of 6 forks, 21.5 cm long
Very good overall condition, but note that 4 handles show small cracks at the level of the 3rd rivet at the bottom of the handle (see photos with the red and blue circles)
- 1 box of 6 small spoons, 15.5 cm long
Very good overall condition, but note that 2 handles show small cracks at the level of the 3rd rivet at the bottom of the handle (see photos with the red and blue circles)
- 1 box of 6 large spoons, 21.3 cm long
Stunning overall condition!
Total weight of the 4 boxes: 2292 g
It is very important to note that the minor cracks present on a few handles do not affect the durability of the cutlery! These are high-quality French “Laguiole” pieces and the handles are very, very sturdy (5 attachment points with the 2 bolsters and the 3 rivets).
Very carefully protected shipment!
CARE TIP: In general, the “LAGUIOLE” knives do not like water! Therefore, to preserve the condition of your Laguiole, it is strongly discouraged to put them in the dishwasher or to leave them soaking in water or contact with dishwashing products, as this will gradually cause stains on the stainless steel part and will deteriorate the handles and the brass bolsters (indeed, Laguiole blades made of hardened stainless steel always contain some carbon to harden the blade, and that carbon can promote oxidation stains if the blade remains wet for too long). Preferably clean quickly with soap or a mild dishwashing product with warm water and dry immediately! Using this cleaning method, your “Laguiole” will remain in superb condition for a very, very long time.
