Splendid and ancient pair of hand-carved wooden altar palm supports clad in gold leaf. Refined Italian craftsmanship from the early 19th century, of great elegance and masterful workmanship. They feature an urn-shaped form with handles and carvings in scrolls and acanthus leaves. Some light and normal signs of aging visible in the photos. Very fascinating and in good condition.
