Description from the seller
The lot includes two objects of different sizes:
The first object is a white box, measuring 10.5 cm in width and 3 cm in height, made of porcelain. It is part of the Magic Flute series, a figurative relief decoration designed in the 1970s by Björn Wiinblad for Rosenthal, with a motif inspired by Mozart's Magic Flute. Dimensions: just over 3 cm high and 10.5 cm wide. The item is in practically perfect condition, like new; I would list it as excellent, though it seems simply placed in a shop window given the condition, with imperceptible marks when looking at the photographs. A very rare and precious piece of Wiinblad’s design for Rosenthal.
The second item is a jewelry box container made of porcelain decorated with figurative images, with a motif painted in liquid gold in four shades of gold. For this model, the name Quatre Couleurs is used. It was produced in the 1960s–1970s by designer Bjorn Wiinblad for Rosenthal. The object is in excellent condition with some imperceptible signs of use, probably due also to age of production, visible with light shining through; it measures 5 cm in height and 6 cm in width. The marks are normal considering the piece’s more than 50 years of age; study the photographs. The piece is signed and features numbers and red marks by the decorator painter, probably in the Liné studio mark.
A very rare and precious piece of Wiinblad’s design for Rosenthal.
The lot will be packed with a double box or reinforced outer box, and the pieces will be separated inside the package to avoid damage, with multiple boxes and fragile points protected by soft material or polystyrene, all wrapped in ample bubble wrap, polystyrene, and similar materials.
We ship to the entire European Community and exclusively to the European Community.
