Large wooden sarcophagus mask finely carved. It is carved from cedar and covered with gesso painted in red and black pigments.
This red-toned mask is the likeness of an Egyptian dignitary.
The oval-shaped face with idealized features is characterized by large almond-shaped eyes inlaid with bronze and stone, a long slender nose sculpted in relief in a triangular shape and refined at the nasal bridge, and a mouth with pursed lips.
