Splendid and rare set never used, in excellent condition.
It consists of 6 cups and 6 white porcelain saucers, from the Vecchio Ginori Doccia collection, by Richard Ginori, and with the blue crowned N of Capodimonte.
The collection is known for its bas-relief historiated decoration. The bell-shaped cup is finely decorated with mythological and bucolic figures, the handle is in the shape of intertwined vines, the saucer is decorated with volutes of flowering garlands.
A perfect set not only for refined everyday use, but also as a collectible item or a high-value decorative piece.
The historiated bas-reliefs in Ginori style for Capodimonte are no longer produced in the historic manufactory, being tied to Richard Ginori's past productions and Capodimonte's private manufactories of the 20th century; they are virtually unobtainable.
Cup height 10 cm, diameter 8 cm; saucer diameter 15.5 cm. They are so beautiful that I would even use them for coffee.
