A remarkable Art Nouveau tin jug by the French sculptor and designer Jean Garnier (1853–1910), executed in tin and shaped as a bird with an open beak. Signed “J. Garnier” and marked “Étain Garanti Pur.”

Dating: ca. 1900–1905.
Condition: good used condition with signs of aging and wear and a nicely weathered patina. See the photos for a full picture of the condition.

Bijzondere Art Nouveau kan van de Franse beeldhouwer en ontwerper Jean Garnier (1853–1910), uitgevoerd in tin en vormgegeven als een vogel met geopende snavel. Gesigneerd “J. Garnier” en gemerkt “Étain Garanti Pur”.

Datering: ca. 1900–1905.
Conditie: goede gebruikte staat met ouderdoms- en gebruikssporen en een mooi doorleefd patina. Zie de foto’s voor een volledig beeld van de conditie.
