Fritz Neth - Fauteuil - Wool - Madame Armchair

Rare specimen “Madame” lounge chair. Design by Fritz Neth, produced by Correcta Foams Company (Sitzformbau) in Kassel (Germany) in the early 1950s. Beautiful organic form, great seating comfort.

Reupholstered (ploegwool no 17, bright red) and fitted with a new foam (top) layer while preserving the old shape.
The armchair shows some signs of use: (small) stains and the upholstery here and there a bit loose. Some wear on the legs (in keeping with the age).
