Superb and rare antique porcelain set in fine Limoges porcelain, made by the prestigious L. Bernardaud & Cie, Limoges. The service features an elegant embossed relief inspired by wicker/basketry weave, paired with a magnificent blue decoration depicting pastoral scenes and wildflowers, enhanced with delicate gold fillets and details. The cups have an elegant, slightly flared shape, with worked and gilded handles. The service pieces are fitted with their lids. Composition: 12 saucers, diameter 14.5 cm; 12 cups, diameter 10 cm, height 5 cm; 1 coffee pot with lid: height 23.5 cm, width from spout to handle 21 cm, diameter 13 cm; 1 sugar bowl with lid: height 11 cm, overall height 15.5 cm; 1 milk pot with lid: height 14.5 cm, width from spout to handle 11.5 cm, diameter 8 cm. Very good overall condition for its age. The set is well preserved, with no breaks or apparent restorations. The gilding and decorations are generally well preserved. Note: on two cups, the blue of the decoration is slightly grayed/duller in places, which constitutes a slight variation in appearance related to aging.
