Two wooden egg chairs, model SWT 664, designed by German designer Eddy Harlis for Thonet in 1954, in steamed multiplex wood finished in white, with dimensions 56 cm wide, 64 cm deep and 77 cm high, seating height 40 cm, weight 9 kg, origin Germany, estimated period 1950–1960, in Mid‑Century Modern style and in good used condition with minor signs of aging and small stains.

these two wooden egg chairs model S(W)T 664 were designed by the German designer Eddy Harlis or in full (Edelhard Heinrich Otto Harlis 1928/1985) for the chair brand Thonet in 1954, it is the rare first model with wooden spindle legs; later these were replaced by metal tubular legs. because the chairs, made in steamed plywood, were in poor condition they were repainted in the original white paint. on the bottom there were two aluminum labels attached advertising the seller "De Klerk - Wolver" from Antwerp, but under these labels lay the original paper labels of the Thonet brand! the combination of the labels, color, screws and the wooden spindle legs confirms that these chairs are the first version from 1954.
