Description from the seller
For sale is an exceptionally large, flawless and rare masterpiece of Dutch Art Nouveau ceramics from the renowned manufactory N.V. Plateelbakkerij Zuid-Holland (PZH) in Gouda. This stately double-handled vase bears the famous early decoration “Damascus III,” characterized by its intricate, hand-painted floral motifs (stylized Fleur-de-Lys) in an elegant blend of deep blues, greens, and ochres.
Special features & markings:
The vase is fully hand-signed and documented on the base in period-typical fashion:

Decoration name: Damascus / Holland
Internal coding: G 010 / 3
