Silver 15 Kopeks coin minted in Saint Petersburg during the reign of Nicholas II. The obverse features the crowned imperial double-headed eagle holding a scepter and an orb, with the shield of Saint George in the center and the various territorial shields spread across the wings; at the bottom appear the initials Э.Б., corresponding to the mint master Elikum Babayants. The reverse shows the value 15 Kopeks beneath the imperial crown, flanked by laurel branches and accompanied by the date 1908 and the mint mark С.П.Б. The specimen shows a sharp strike, with excellent definition of the plumage, the crowns, the small shields, and the botanical elements, preserving clean fields and abundant original luster. An attractive natural patina with golden, slightly warm tones stands out, especially visible on the obverse, contrasting with the silver background. Its MS64 grade certified by NGC reflects outstanding conservation, with only small surface marks compatible with the grade and a notable overall freshness, representative of late Imperial Russian silver fractional coinage in the final years of the Romanov dynasty.
