Crystal and Opaline Art Deco Pendant Lamp with Original Braided Textile Rope Mount - Cream-Colored Opal Glass, Enrobed - Europe, 1920s-1930s
Elegant and sophisticated original Art Deco pendant light (ceiling fixture) from around 1920–1930, a superb example of European vintage illumination.
The main body consists of a large circular dish of cream-colored, glossy opaline glass, encased. The bottom of the dish features a refined geometric stepped pattern of inverted concentric blocks (Skyscraper style), designed to reflect and soften the light evenly. When the lamp is lit, the glass layering creates a warm, welcoming, and evocative atmosphere. What makes this lot exceptional and highly collectible is the presence of its original braided textile rope mount.

Elegante e sofisticato lampadario a sospensione (plafoniera) originale del periodo Art Déco (circa 1920-1930), squisito esempio di illuminazione d'epoca europea.
Il corpo principale è costituito da una grande coppa circolare in vetro opalino incamiciato color crema lucido. Il fondo del piatto presenta una raffinata lavorazione geometrica a gradini concentrici invertiti (stile "Skyscraper"), studiata per riflettere e ammorbidire la luce in modo omogeneo. Quando la lampada è accesa, la stratificazione del vetro dona un'atmosfera calda, accogliente e suggestiva. A rendere questo lotto eccezionale e altamente collezionabile è la presenza della sua montatura originale in corda tessile intrecciata.
