Two Art Deco walnut serpentine nightstands with marble tops, made in Italy in the 1920s–1930s, dimensions 68 cm wide by 43 cm deep by 67 cm high, in good condition with minor signs of age.

This piece features richly bookmatched flamed walnut veneer on the serpentine cabinet front, accented by original aged brass hardware with exquisite patina.
The furniture is decorated with elaborate hand-carved floral and foliate motifs, moulded apron and decorative cabriole legs terminating in scroll feet.
From the top view, we can see the shaped rectangular top with softly curved corners and overhanging moulded edge. An exceptionally beautifully and figured grey shade marble top adds further sophistication and completes this commanding design.
The condition is very great for its age, despite of some minimal scratches of age and use.
