A pair of Legras Art Nouveau Toul vases in emerald green, blown glass with gilt decoration and a diabolo body with hexagonal flared necks, circa 1900, each about 23 cm high with a base of 9 cm and individually weight around 489 g and 517 g, unsigned and in excellent antique condition with minor wear to enamels and gilding, by François Théodore Legras, France.

BELGRAS – Pair of Art Nouveau vases in Toul form, referenced – Green enameled glass with gold – France around 1900 – H. 23 cm
Beautiful pair of Legras Art Nouveau vases, in the “Toul” form referenced, France, circa 1900.
In emerald green blown glass, with a diabolo-shaped body and flared hexagonal neck, the two vases feature a rich polychrome enamel floral decoration: pink and white flowers, foliage and branches, enhanced by extensive gold decoration of arabesques and lace-like motifs around the neck.
The Toul form is documented in Legras reference literature and is found with several decorative variants. Unsigned examples.
Dimensions: H. 23 cm – base approx. 9 cm – opening approx. 9 cm.
Weight: 489 g and 517 g.
Excellent uniformity of the pair, with slight differences inherent to handmade fabrication and decoration.
Age-related condition as shown in the photographs, with possible wear to gilding and enamel visible on them.
