Description from the seller
DAUM NANCY — Art Deco Desk Lamp / Desk Lamp — circa 1920
Exceptional Art Deco gooseneck desk lamp from circa 1920, blending the craftsmanship of the prestigious Daum Nancy house with high-end wrought ironwork attributed to Edgar Brandt.
The heavy, hand-hammered wrought iron base (2285 g), fully hot-forged, features technical and aesthetic characteristics typical of Edgar Brandt’s workshops: a superb gooseneck line ending in a tight volute twist, resting on a geometric rectangular base with steps (20 x 9 cm).
The frame suspends a double-layer blown glass tulip shade (433 g) with intercalated orange and brown powder inclusions. Once lit, the glass reveals its depth and diffuses a stunning incandescent, warmly glowing light.

• Tulip Shade: Height 13 cm | Opening Width 13 cm | Weight: 433 g.
