Disney - The Lion King Mufasa, Sarabi & Baby Simba Engraved Etch Serigraph

Walt Disney's animated feature film, The Lion King, hit theaters in 1994. In this scene from the 32nd Disney animated feature, Mufasa and his wife Sarabi cradle their newborn son Simba, the future King of the Lions. Disney Treasures has chosen this image as the perfect example of characterization, creativity, and artistic skill for The Lion King. Only a carefully selected group of moments from Walt Disney Studios' feature films and shorts qualifies as Disney Treasures. Once one of these moments is selected, the supervising artist of Disney Art Editions, Ron Dias, returns to the original drawings, layouts, colour proofs, and any other archival material to seek an inspired reproduction that is then used to develop this artwork. This artwork embodies the legacy of Walt Disney Studios, as well as the creative standards of The Walt Disney Company. The finished artwork is truly a Disney Treasure. Moross Studios of Los Angeles, California, produced the finished artwork for the production of this limited edition silkscreen. The print is on Somerset Soft White Textured paper. There are 7,500 pieces in the regular edition with 250 artist proofs. This limited edition was produced in 1994. Disney Treasures approved the techniques used in producing this edition. At the end of the edition, the screens, plates, and other printing components are destroyed. The original finished artwork is archived at The Walt Disney Company. An excellent piece with original framing and certificate of authenticity and care instructions.
