Solid wood side table in Baroque Luigi XV style, made in Italy, dating from 1940–1950, with dimensions 78 cm long, 49.5 cm deep and 48 cm high, in good used condition with signs of age.
Description from the seller
Elegant wooden side table in the Louis XV style, characterized by sinuous shapes and rich carved decoration in a Rococo taste.
The piece features a shaped rectangular top with chamfered corners and a molded edge.
The lower frieze is particularly decorative, with pierced and carved volutes, botanical elements and a central shell motif, repeated also along the sides.
The structure rests on four characteristic curved and shaped legs, embellished at the top and along the profile with carved decorations. The whole presents harmonious proportions and a warm wood tone.
The workmanship recalls the Louis XV and Rococo decorative repertoire, reinterpreted according to 20th-century furniture production.
The table is presented in good overall structural condition, with normal signs of age and use. The top shows scratches, small abrasions, surface marks and finish irregularities, clearly documented in the photographs. There are also small marks and wear along the edges, legs and carved parts.
The lower part and the construction of the piece are photographically documented, to allow a complete assessment of its conservation status.
No producer marks or labels are visible on the parts examined.
