Excellent specimen of Calcite with Limonite from Cedogno, Val d'Enza, Emilia-Romagna, completely natural, of excellent mineralogical value. The piece presents as a cluster of large tabular Calcite crystals in white and honey tones, with inclusions of Limonite giving golden/orange hues to some crystals; the mineral is also fluorescent under UV lamp, showing a suggestive blue and orange luminescence. These characteristics add aesthetic and mineralogical value to the piece.
It is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the field of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to properties traditionally associated with the mineral species.
