Item Description
This is a Technics integrated stereo amplifier, model SU-8044. Manufactured by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. in Japan, this vintage silver-panel amplifier features multiple input terminals including Phono, Tuner, AUX, and Tape, along with bass/treble tone controls, a loudness switch, balance control, and a power/level meter display with range switching (×1/×0.1).
Audio output has been confirmed from each input, and all function switches including tone control and loudness have been verified to operate correctly. Although considerable time has passed since its release, signs of use are minimal, and the front panel, knobs, and rear terminals retain their lustre, making this an exceptionally fine-looking example for a vintage item.
No accessories are included. The item will be shipped exactly as shown in the photographs.
Condition
Operation has been confirmed for all inputs and functions (tone control, loudness, balance). The cosmetic condition is also very good for a vintage item — please refer to the photographs as an aid in assessing the condition.
