Description from the seller

Magnificent and rare bas-relief by Camille Fauré titled "Anémones fond clair".

The colors are vivid and radiant thanks to the enamel on copper plate technique.
The photos do not reflect the colors and the brilliant enamel pigmentation well enough (attention to connoisseurs).

Work signed on the enamel and behind the original frame, with the artist's wax seal stamp.

In very good condition, sold with the very handsome original frame, slightly damaged at two corners.

Camille Fauré (1874-1956) is a French artist of note. He is best known for his enamel designs for companies manufacturing Limoges porcelain. Floral and figurative motifs in richly enameled colors are his signature.
The 1925 International Exposition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts marks the breakthrough of C. Fauré.

Careful and insured shipping.
