17th-century Heemskerk candlestick.
The candlestick is made of 2 parts.
Nice heavy candlestick with a fairly large spill hole that was used to let the remaining wax run off or to pry out the last piece of candle wax.
Height approx. 21 cm.
The candlestick stands securely.
The disk and the base have occasional casting flaws on the disk and the base.

De kandelaar is uit 2 delen vervaardigd.
Mooie zware kandelaar met een mooi groot uitloop gat dat diende om het resterende kaarsvet te laten weglopen
of het laatste stukje kaaarsvet uit te peuteren .
Hoogte ca 21 cm.
De kandelaar staat goed vast .
De schijf en de voet hebben periodieke gietfouten aan de schijf en de voet.
