Rarest vase or plant holder designed and produced by Roberto Rigon for Ceramica Italiana Rigon.
Rigon is known for having worked as a designer at Bertoncello Art Ceramics in Schiavon.
The vase is shaped like a dove and is part of a rare series of animal-shaped vases. A highly decorative object with a playful design.
Made in the 1960s-70s, entirely in slip-cast ceramic with decorations typical of Roberto Rigon and Bertoncello in brown tones.
Manufacturer's mark impressed under the base (the logo consists of two letters RR).
Among the photos you can find the marks of Roberto Rigon, taken from the Vicenza ceramics archive that can be found on the web.
Aesthetically preserved in excellent vintage condition, it has no particular defects to report, as seen in the photos.
