Tignanello continues to represent an icon of world winemaking, staying true to its history as the first Sangiovese to be aged in barrique and a pioneer of the "Super Tuscans." Produced exclusively from the vineyard of the same name at the Tignanello estate, the wine derives its identity from soils rich in limestone and marly schist. The 2023 vintage was characterized by a season that rewarded elegance and aromatic complexity, leading to a balanced and refined phenolic ripeness. The wine presents an intense ruby red color; the nose strikes with the vivacity of red fruits, cherry, and pomegranate, blending with delicate notes of orange, cocoa, and white pepper. On the palate, it is harmonious and vibrant, supported by silky tannins and a savory freshness that ensures excellent progression and persistence.
