The NAD Model 60 belongs to NAD's first production run in the mid-seventies and is generally placed in the 1975–1977 period.
The unit features the characteristic satin aluminum front panel, with two illuminated VU meters, inserted into the original wooden cabinet with its front grille.
The condition is exceptionally high, near‑mint, with the exception of two light marks on the top of the wooden cabinet, and the right-hand side display illumination to be replaced.

The Model 60 package also includes two illuminated VU meters, speaker, headphone, microphone and recorder connections, Phono, Aux and Tape inputs, tone controls, Loudness and treble filter, in addition to the Dynaquad/quasi‑quadraphonic section provided by the original design.
On the rear panel of the unit are the original connections and markings, the PHONO GND connection and the indications related to fuse protection. The correct markings should be read as T1.6A for the power fuse and F3.15A for speaker protection.
A notable documentary element is the presence, near the power inlet, of a calibration sticker/label bearing the inscription “ARCONA.” The element is kept in the description as a physical characteristic of the specimen, without attributing technical meanings that have not yet been verified.
