The paint is in very good overall condition and shows only normal signs of use for the age of the car. The fender extensions are neatly shot through in the body color and equipped with the original rubbers. The chrome work is also in very neat condition, including an original chrome grille with one slat, two stainless steel bumpers and two additional driving lights. Furthermore, the car is fitted with green-tinted glass, a heated rear window, original 40th Anniversary and GB badges on the body, and sits on original 4.5 x 12-inch Minilite wheels with almost new Fulda tires.
INTERIOR:
The interior is fully original and in a very tidy condition. The burgundy leather seats and rear bench are finished with beige piping. The door panels and gear lever boot are in coordinating colors, and the floor features the original red carpet combined with new Cooper floor mats. The walnut dashboard features original Smiths instruments with magnolia white dials and 40th Anniversary logos. In addition, the Mini is equipped with a leather steering wheel including airbag and beige accents, and an aluminum gear knob with John Cooper badge. The headlining and sun visors are also in a neat, undamaged condition.
ENGINE AND TECHNICS:
Under the bonnet lies the well-known 1,275 cc 1.3 MPI injected engine, good for about 63 hp. The engine runs very nicely and the vehicle has been meticulously maintained throughout its life. The manual five-speed gearbox was fully rebuilt in 2025, including new gaskets, clutch, and seals, making it shift very neatly. The car is equipped with front disc brakes, power braking, a standard Single Box exhaust, and an alarm system with engine immobilizer. All fluids have been recently renewed and the heater and other electrical systems (lighting and wipers) function properly.
