Elegant set consisting of six Portuguese silver glasses of 833 thousandths, produced at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century, reflecting the sober and geometric aesthetic that would come to characterize the Art Deco movement. Each glass features a body with an inverted truncated-cone profile, funnel-shaped, with clean lines and a completely smooth surface, evidencing the quality of the goldsmith work through its high-polish, brilliant finish. The formal simplicity is harmoniously complemented by a base carved in ebony wood, formed by concentric rings, which provides an interesting color contrast between the black wood and the shine of the silver. The set bears the Portuguese contrast Javali II, corresponding to 833 thousandths silver, in use between 1887 and 1937, attesting to the authenticity and quality of the precious metal.
