Large rugged teakwood bench with underframe / shoe rack – Rustic & Minimal – 21st century

A characterful, very sturdy long wooden bench, handcrafted from robust solid wood (teak / recycled hardwood). The bench is characterized by its authentic look with visible mortise-and-tenon joints in the seat and sturdy angled legs.

Under the seat is a practical lower rack with slats, which makes the bench not only visually appealing but also very functional as a hallway bench, shoe rack, or decorative display bench.

The wood shows a beautiful natural texture and a warm, matte finish with a rugged character.

Made from old Indonesian salvaged wood, so no additional trees were cut down.
Recycled teak is simply teak that has been given a second life. The recycled teak beams and boards once formed, for example, a house, boat, railway sleeper, or rice trough. Because they were no longer needed for that purpose, after strict selection and treatment they have been reprocessed into, for example, garden furniture.

Recycled teak still contains all the properties of new teak, only no trees have to be felled. It also prevents waste of high-quality materials. It is therefore a sustainable and socially responsible alternative to new teak.

This beautiful and decorative bench is nice, for example, as living-room or garden decor, under a veranda or in a bathroom.

The bench has a height of 45 cm, a length of 140 cm and a depth of 31 cm.
Further, the bench weighs around 13 kg.

The seating surface is 140 cm x 23 cm.
