A very lightweight yet sturdy three-legged stool showing feminine curves. The legs of the stool are made of slim wooden strips. As a result of the construction they look like grown muscle fibres. The slatted design makes the stool look lighter.

It is handcrafted of maple solid wood and finished with hard wax oil.

The height of the stool is 48 cm and the weight only 1,8 kg. The top measures 28 x 29 cm.

The stool in the auction is a handmade piece and has an embossed stamp on the underside of the top.

Seller's Story

Florian Artmann is a designer maker working and living in Munich, Germany. After an apprenticeship in carpentry in Munich, he studied Product-and Furniture Design in London. Starting his own studio in 2005 he designs and makes shop interiors, furniture and other objects. Recently the designs developed in an elaborate direction exploring the boundaries between art and design. His work was exhibited internationally.
