The 22RH544 belongs to the classical Philips Motional Feedback series from the second half of the 1970s. Each speaker has its own built-in amplifier and the well-known MFB system, in which the movement of the woofer is actively fed back and corrected. This allowed Philips to achieve a very controlled bass performance from a relatively compact enclosure.

The 22RH544 is a three-way active system with a 20 cm woofer, 5 cm midrange, and 2.5 cm tweeter. The amplification is 40 watts for the low end and 20 watts for mid/high. Frequency range approximately 30 Hz – 20 kHz.
