Extra info
The coins have been demonetized or invalidated by being 'wokkled' (wobbling). For coins from the Wilhelmina period it is truly rare for demonetized coins to end up with a collector, as the metals were mostly recycled for minting new coins; these coins were withdrawn from circulation on 15 August 1950.
This lot is offered in our special SSA Numistrust selection auction; this special 6th auction ends on the last Tuesday of the month.
This special Single Seller Auction contains only collectibles from the reign of Queen Wilhelmina.
