Both studied industrial design at ENSAAMA and ENSCI-Les Ateliers in Paris and have worked for various companies and studios before founding their design agency AC/AL in 2013 — Chhor at Hermès, for example, and Logerot in Mathieu Lehanneur's workshop. Aïssa Logerot also studied cabinetry at the École Boulle. Among their distinctions are the Red Dot Award for the design concept Extensios in 2009 and the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in 2010.
