Produced by Ernst Leitz, Wetzlar, Germany, around 1947.

	• No haze or fungus in the lens and viewfinders: glass perfectly transparent.

Compatible with 35mm film.

Subsequently converted by Leica/Leitz to model IIIf with flash connection.
Lens serial number: 670443 (interchangeable lens with M39 screw mount)
