Wall clock - Junghans - Mid-century modern Ceramic - 1950-1960

this clock is a German Junghans clock made of ceramic and with gold paint on the sides, elegantly finished.

the ceramic is pristine, with no damage, and the gold is still bright and not worn away.

it is a mid-century model from the 1950s/60s and bears the letters VE DE BE, which are probably the initials of a private firm or company.

the clock's mechanical workings have been ultrasonically cleaned and have a new mainspring and are in excellent working condition.

on the back are the numbers 8625 G, which is the model number, with the G probably standing for "gold", and to the lower right of the number 4291 probably the mold number?
