Pioneer TX-5300 (Stereo Tuner)

Signal-to-noise ratio: 68 dB (FM), which was excellent at the time for interference-free reception.
Features: Equipped with an FM Muting switch to suppress noise between stations while searching. The iconic 'Stereo' lamp lights up as soon as a strong stereo signal is received.
Weight & Dimensions: 4.8 kg | 350 x 125 x 303 mm (the width and height are exactly the same as the amplifier, so they can be stacked perfectly).

Speaker choice: Because the amplifier delivers 10 watts per channel, the set performs best in combination with high-efficiency speakers (speakers that handle power efficiently, preferably with sensitivity above 90 dB).

Both the Pioneer SA-5300 and TX-5300 are in perfect condition and work perfectly, with the caveat that the on/off indicator light on the top-left of the SA-5300 needs replacing.
