AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Magnificent and hard-to-find chess set “Chess with The Simpsons,” Spanish edition by Planeta DeAgostini, officially distributed under license from The Simpsons / 20th Century Fox.
This is a piece especially attractive to The Simpsons collectors, vintage merchandise, and themed chess sets, above all for the extraordinary preservation state in which this specimen presents itself.
The set includes:
- Original box in Spanish
- Original chessboard
- Original inner tray
- 32 three-dimensional figures
- A large part of the figures still preserve their original individual protective bags
- Graphic elements and instructions printed in Spanish
The figures are in excellent overall condition, very well preserving colours, finishes and original details. The fact that numerous pieces remain individually protected makes this specimen particularly interesting from a collector’s point of view.
The board is also in very good condition and retains the original collection graphics, including character references and their correspondence with the different chess pieces.
A particularly collectible edition
It is not common to find this Simpsons chess set in its Spanish edition, complete with its original box, board, tray, and figures preserved in these conditions.
The combination of completeness, original presentation, and excellent conservation makes this set a very attractive piece for both The Simpsons collectors and fans of board games and popular culture artifacts from the early 2000s.
