AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Silver ten-cent coin 1944 Philadelphia, minted under Queen Wilhelmina in exile, in which a raised edge has appeared, the so-called rail-track serration. The coin did not sit in the coin ring, causing a minimal bit to be pinched during striking, hence the "excess protrusion".
Obverse: Portrait of Queen Wilhelmina with coarser upswept hair facing left - WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN
Reverse: 10 / cents / 1944 within two intertwined oak branches.
Material: Silver 640/1000 Ag
Weight: 1.45 grams
Reference: Schulman 1059

Seller's Story
Numistrust | The Numismaat originated from a passion for numismatics that has existed for more than 15 years. We focus on world coins of higher quality, rarer specimens, and precious metals. Personal service, honest descriptions, and professional handling are our top priorities. We regularly collaborate with MuntMarkt for the services related to grading and certifying coins, so we can support our customers in that area as well.
Besides Catawiki, we are active on LastDodo. In the future our offering will be expanded further with gold and silver bullion coins and additional sales channels, including eBay.
Our goal is not to be the largest supplier, but to become a reliable partner for collectors who value quality, honesty, and personal service.
We wish you much success and enjoyment in bidding!
With numismatic regards,
Numistrust | The Numismaat
