Engraver: Léopold Wiener (signed L. WIENER under the bust).
Reverse: Coat of arms of Belgium placed on an ermine mantle crowned. The national motto “L'UNION FAIT LA FORCE” is inscribed here, along with the denomination “25 Fcs”, the original theoretical weight “7,915”, the year “1848” and the fineness “900/M”.
Composition: Gold at 900 ‰ (90% pure gold, 10% copper).
